Seventh Album Call Me Crazy Set For Fall Debut
NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 19 -- MCA Nashville will officially
release Lee Ann Womack's new single "Last Call", written by Erin Enderlin
and Shane McAnally, to radio June 30. Her highly-anticipated seventh album,
produced by Tony Brown and titled Call Me Crazy, will debut this Fall.
"I'm so fired up to be back doing what I feel like I was born to do,
which is making country music," said Womack. "The time I spent writing,
looking for songs, and meeting with Tony felt so effortless and natural.
One of my favorite things when making a record is working with some of the
best singers and musicians in the world...it was so fun to have some of
them work on this project."
Four of the twelve tracks are co-written by Womack and fans will
discover two other very well-known male voices accompanying the songstress,
including Keith Urban and George Strait. Last time Womack and Strait
collaborated was for "Good News, Bad News", which earned them a Country
Music Association award for "Musical Event of the Year."
Womack has sold over 6 million albums, won two Grammy's, numerous other
milestone awards, and most recently garnered critical acclaim for There's
More Where That Came From. Released February of '05 on CD and classic
vinyl, There's More swept Country Music Association trophies fall of the
same year for "Album of the Year" and "Single of the Year" ("I May Hate
Myself In the Morning"). She is also recognized for #1 singles "The Fool,"
"A Little Past Little Rock," "I'll Think Of A Reason Later" and the mega
smash "I Hope You Dance."

New Jersey dream rock candy quartet Armor for Sleep's emotionally charged lyrics, energetic live shows, and D.I.Y. knead value orientation have got won them a loyal fan base. Singer/songwriter/guitar player Ben Jorgensen began piece of writing songs the summertime before his fresher yr at college, and recorded 2 of them at a local studio. Weary of playing all of the instruments himself, the self-admitted solitary launch akin spirits in bassist Anthony Dilonno and cousins Nash Breen (drums) and P.J. DeCicco (guitar). Buzz for the fresh minted band grew quickly, and by the summertime of 2002, they establish themselves in California recording their debut, Dream to Make Believe. Released on Equal Vision Records in June 2003, the record secured the band a solid pip in the maturation emo-pop view, in the lead to some alternative shows with bands like Taking Back Sunday, Piebald, and Thursday. In 2005, afterwards successfully headlining their have U.S. tour, the band released What to Do When You Are Dead, a broadly speaking related to conceptual record album dealing with life and death that showcased the group's growth into a heavier and darker machine. The DVD A Comprehensive Guide to Touring was issued nigh the year's end, and Armor for Sleep following signed on to the roster over at Sire in April 2006. The following year, "Last of the World" was included on the soundtrack for Transformers: The Movie, and the group released a new record album, Smile for Them.
